Super Eagles defender, William Troost-Ekong has spoken about the vision for his football foundation which was recently established. A report by Soccernet.ng states that the name of this organization is Troost-Ekong Foundation. William Troost-Ekong has now revealed that he wants to empower young people in the Federal Republic of Nigeria through football and education.
William Troost-Ekong also said that "I plan to eventually open up my own school and sports facilities, and these were the first things that I mentioned when I had the attention of the governor of Akwa Ibom State". It should be said that William Troost-Ekong met with governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom State.
William Troost-Ekong is currently 30 years of age. He made his first appearance for the Super Eagles of Nigeria in the year 2015. This means that he has played for the Super Eagles of Nigeria for close to ten years now. William Troost-Ekong is regarded as a football legend in Nigeria.
