Tinubu: "We Nigerians Together Will Change You, Should You Decide To Go For A Second Term- NNPP
According to Daily Post, Hashimu Suleiman Dungurawa, the Kano State Chairman of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), has issued a stern warning to President Bola Tinubu, advising him to brace for defeat in the upcoming general elections if he persists with his severe anti-people policies.
Additionally, he dismissed rumors suggesting that the party's national leader, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, would switch to the All Progressive Congress (APC), calling it a baseless claim intended to damage his reputation.
“Tinubu, you either change them or we Nigerians together will change you. Be prepared for defeat should you decide to go for a second term,” he said.
On May 29, 2023, President Tinubu began implementing policies that negatively impact the masses, and it seems he has been punishing us with these measures ever since.
"Given these harsh policies and your support for them, you should brace yourself for defeat in the upcoming general elections," he remarked.
He expressed confidence that the NNPP would achieve victory in all 36 states and in the presidential election in 2027.
Dungurawa highlighted that Nigerians are rallying behind the party, eagerly awaiting the next general election.
He stated, "With the numerous issues caused by the APC government, it's only a matter of time before we ensure Tinubu is out in 2027 and Kwankwaso, a true democrat, takes over."
He also mentioned that the party has established offices and built structures at the state and local government levels, emphasizing that this progress indicates NNPP's potential to win both state and federal positions in 2027.
Dungurawa stated, “The NNNPP achieved significant successes in 2024 and is on track for even more in 2025.
“You are all witnesses to the fact that we are fortunate to have a governor who fears God and has transformed Kano in terms of infrastructure, empowerment, and human development.
“Kano can now compete with any modern city worldwide, particularly with the advanced facilities available in both urban and rural areas.”
Dungurawa emphasized that the only challenge the party faces is the alleged intentions of the Federal Government to establish a one-party system in the country.
He urged the Federal Government to focus on implementing policies that would ease the hardships faced by the people.
