"There are no hospitals or schools," he said, challenging Kingibe to enumerate the bills she has sponsored to improve the country's healthcare and education sectors. "I am fully focused on that lawmaker," Wike declared defiantly. "If you are truly popular, come and run in Abuja in 2027; we will defeat you. Do you think the same thing will happen again? It won't. If you're so famous, prove it. I am fortunate to serve as the FCT minister. This is my domain, and I will not be intimidated." Wike emphasized the strength of his political connections and his readiness to confront any challenge, defending both his current term and future political ambitions.
Wike also spoke about the importance of accepting the truth, emphasizing that his administration is not seeking friendships out of necessity. "We have too many friends already," he stated. "Why should we approach strangers and beg them to be friends? That is not something we are interested in."
