BREAKING: Raphael Owino Appointed For A Top Post In Ruto's Government Today In The Evening

Some few minutes ago, reports emerged on a major appointment that has been made in president William Ruto's government today in the evening.

As reported by kenyans.co.ke, president William Samoe Ruto through the cabinet secretary of Treasury Prof Njuguna Ndung'u has appointed Mr Raphael Owino as the new director of The Public Debt Management Office (PDMO). According to reports, Owino is going to succeed Dr Haron Sirima who has been holding this position for some years now. He's going to serve on this position for the next 3 years.

Raphael Owino's appointment coincides with President William Ruto's recent announcement of an audit of the country's public debt, signalling a renewed focus on transparency and accountability. Dr Haron Sirima is leaving this office having paid the final installment of Eurobond worth Shs 72 Billion. This repayment was made on June 21. Owino will now be tasked to manage Kenya's debt worth Shs 10 Trillion.
