Hope Uzodimma, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in the South East is the Chairman of Progressives Governors' Forum, PGF.

Governor Hope Uzodimma stated on his verified Facebook page; "We reaffirmed our commitment to the progress and security of our region today, at the South East Governors' Forum meeting where we had comprehensive deliberations, reviewing the report from the recent South East Security and Economic Summit held in Owerri."
He added; "This review is crucial as we strive to implement strategies that will enhance development and ensure the safety of all residents. This include a significant resolution on our collective decision to approach President Bola Ahmed Tinubu with the aim to secure the release of Mazi Nnamdi Kalu."
