Italian Newspaper Reveals the One Club Ready to Pay Release Clause of Arsenal-Linked Striker Osimhen

According to a report by Italian daily newspaper La Repubblica, via Tutto Napoli, Saudi Arabian Pro League club Al-Ahli is the only club willing to pay the release clause of Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen. The reigning African Footballer of the Year has been linked to several top European clubs, including Arsenal, but Al-Ahli's willingness to meet his release clause of €130 million sets them apart from other suitors.

Osimhen's impressive performances for Napoli and the Super Eagles have made him a hot commodity in the transfer market. However, his high release clause has deterred many clubs from making a formal bid. Al-Ahli's readiness to pay the clause suggests that they are serious about acquiring the services of the talented striker.

Despite Al-Ahli's interest, Osimhen has expressed his reluctance to move to Saudi Arabia, preferring to stay in Europe. This stumbling block may complicate negotiations between Napoli and Al-Ahli, with the Italian club eager to cash in on their prized asset.

Arsenal, who have been linked to Osimhen, have reportedly turned their attention to cheaper alternatives, including Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyokeres. Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain, also rumored to be interested in Osimhen, have similarly been priced out of a deal.

As the transfer saga unfolds, it remains to be seen whether Al-Ahli can persuade Osimhen to join their ranks or if Napoli will find another buyer willing to meet their demands. One thing is certain, however - Victor Osimhen's future is set to be a major talking point in the transfer market.
