According to Metro, Manchester United forward Anthony Martial resumed full training on Thursday after a 13-week absence due to injury.

Martial underwent groin surgery in January, with an initial prognosis of around ten weeks for his recovery.

However, his return has taken slightly longer than expected.

The 28-year-old Frenchman participated in a full training session on Thursday as United prepare for their upcoming Premier League fixture against Crystal Palace.

Martial's return to training comes amidst speculation about his future at the club, as his contract is set to expire at the end of the season.

During the current season, Martial has made 19 appearances, with seven of those as starts, and has scored two goals.

In addition to Martial, defender Jonny Evans also returned to training after a three-week absence.

Evans' comeback will provide a boost to United's defensive options, particularly with Harry Maguire being the only fit recognized center-back in recent weeks.

However, Marcus Rashford remains sidelined following his early exit in the FA Cup semi-final victory against Coventry.

Despite earlier suggestions of their return to training, Victor Lindelof, Lisandro Martinez, and Luke Shaw are still unavailable due to injury.
