Prof. Chidi Anselm Odinkalu, an attorney and human rights campaigner, has claimed that a large-scale recruiting drive is underway to find bloggers, influencers, and columnists to stand up for Yahaya Bello.
On Saturday, he posted a message on his official Twitter account that included this assertion.
Following the Economic and Financial Crime Commission's (EFCC) declaration of Yahaha Bello being wanted due to charges of money laundering, Chidi Odinkalu has been vocal about the issue.
Odinkalu stated in a post on his page that influential people, bloggers, and columnists are actively seeking support for Yahaya Bello.
He expressed displeasure with how faceless individuals are allegedly looking everywhere for people who will receive money to support Yahaya Bello.
He said, "There's a massive recruitment effort of influencers, bloggers, and columnists to defend @OfficialGYBKogi. It's disgusting."
"Faceless people are calling around and offering money to anyone who wishes to show up for him. I think @officialEFCC are tossers, but tell Mr. Bello to stop being stupid."
