According to Punch news, the recent commissioning of a bus stop and motor park in the FCT by Governor Nyesom Wike, Emma Ik Umeh has expressed disappointment with Senator Ireti Kingibe's performance in the federal capital territory.
"Senator Ireti has been too elitist and disconnected from the people," Ik Umeh said. "She hasn't done much in FCT, and many people don't even know her. It's as if we don't have a Senator representing us in FCT."
Ik Umeh also hinted that Senator Aduda may contest the Senate seat again, given the perceived weakness in Senator Ireti's performance. "Aduda has a strong grassroots presence and is well-loved by the people. If Senator Ireti doesn't step up her game, she may lose her seat to Aduda in the next election."
