The members of Operation Dudula has frowned at the emergence of Dr Leon Schreiber as the new Home Affairs Department Minister. The group in a series of Twitter statement claimed that the Minister was working for the best interest of immigrants.
We would recall that Operation Dudula over the years have called for government action against individuals who are living in the country illegally. The group argued that illegal immigrants contribute to the growing rate of unemployment and insecurity in the country hence the demand for they repatriation back to their home country.
In a recent development, it's been gathered that the members of Operation Dudula are organizing a serious protest aimed at compelling the new Home Affairs Department Minister, Leon Schreiber to suspend every attempt to regularize illegal immigrants by issuing them permits.
The group claimed that Dr Leon Schreiber actions are unpatriotic and should not be allowed.
We would recall that Dr Leon Schreiber in his first official act as the new Minister of Home Affairs just one day after being sworn in has extended the temporary concession for foreign nationals who are currently awaiting the outcome of visa, waiver and appeal applications.
However, members of Operation Dudula have shown dissatisfaction with the recent development and called for government immediate action.
