David Adeleke, a popular Afrobeat artist popularly known as Davido, got into an online feud with Callistus Okolie, a barber from Abuja who goes by the handle @Kallystouch. This all started when Okolie called Davido the "third biggest musician" in Nigeria.
Posting a remark under Davido's Instagram photographs from Dubai, Okolie angered Davido, who retorted that he would have gone to Abuja to get a haircut if Okolie hadn't been so caught up with social media.
Davido went on to boast about his charitable contributions to his former barbers, implying that Okolie had "missed his generation's blessing" by ignoring the patronage he could have provided.
Okolie, who is well-known for his backing of Wizkid, a competing musician, maintained his position and asserted Wizkid's dominance in the industry.
Following this, Okolie reaffirmed his allegiance to Wizkid and tweeted and videotaped his anger with Davido's response on X.com.
Punch reports that he slammed Davido for failing to recognise his barbering potential and stressed that he wasn't asking for help.
This feud arises as Davido is embroiled in a slew of scandals as of late, with Wizkid critiquing Davido for what appears to be a leaked video of Davido in a vulnerable state.
