The White Paper of the panel of inquiry established by the state government to look into land grabbing activities that had allegedly resulted in property destruction and fatalities in the Ifite Nteje community in the Oyi Local Government Area of Anambra State has been appealed to by the indigenous people living there, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, the state governor.

According to a report by Punch. In a demonstration on Friday, the community also asked the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission to provide the findings of the inquiry that the state government had required it to conduct into the sales of their properties by some people posing as members of the community's Land Management Committee.

The demonstrators held signs that read, among other things, "EFCC, make public the report of your investigations on Ifite Nteji fraudulent land sales," "Governor Soludo, come to our rescue, implement the report of the Panel of Inquiry white paper," and "No more land grabbing of Ifite Nteje land."

During their march down the community's main thoroughfares, which included the frequently used Ugwu Nengo Road and Airport Road, the demonstrators suggested anyone claiming to have purchased land from the aforementioned "illegal" land committee to return for a refund.
