Ex-Senator Shehu Sani has spoken out about his strained relationship with Nasir El-Rufai, the former governor of Nigeria.
The Sun recently published an article in which Sani stated that he was unable to provide El-Rufai any advise due to the fact that the two had been political rivals for eight years. He claimed El-Rufai committed far worse things to him than demolishing his house. Thugs broke into his house and workplace, he claimed, and El-Rufai attempted to frame him for murder while casting doubt on his academic credentials.
To paraphrase Sani: "Which one is better?" Attempting to frame you for murder or demolishing your house? Take down your house; wouldn't that be better? Thus, this is his action. Thugs broke into my residence and attacked my office. Attempts to frame me for murder, researching my academic qualifications, and the sending of armed thugs to the Nigeria Union of Journalists in Kaduna during a press conference are just a few of the things that this individual has done against me.
