The source has this morning reported to Kenyans that it will be a rainy weekend in many parts of the country.
According to the weather man about 32 counties will experience rains in the afternoon hours and also night hours this weekend.
The Deputy Met director Joseph Thiong’o confirming the same information said that the counties to experience rains include: Siaya, Kisumu, Homa Bay, Migori, Kisii, Nyamira, Trans Nzoia, Baringo, Uasin Gishu, Elgeyo Marakwet, Nandi, Nakuru, Narok, Kericho, Bomet, Kakamega, Vihiga, Bungoma, Busia and also West Pokot counties.
Still this weekend there are counties that are expected to be wet which include: Turkana, Samburu, Nyandarua, Laikipia, Nyeri, Kirinyaga, Murang'a, Kiambu, Meru, Embu, Tharaka and Nairobi counties.
There will also be strong winds over some parts of the Coast, North-eastern and North-western Kenya.
According to the source the rains that we are currently experiencing as a country will result to a reduction in food prices.
