You Lack Good Advisers, Proper Upbringing, and Manners – Ex-Super Eagles Winger Blasts Osimhen

According to OwnGoalNigeria, Taiwo Oloyede, a former winger for the Super Eagles, has slammed Victor Osimhen for his recent tantrum against Finidi George, the team's former coach. Oloyede was very forthright in an exclusive interview in his criticism of Osimhen, calling his conduct impolite and unpleasant.

The renowned Oloyede of the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) said that Osimhen's bad manners, misguided upbringing, and lack of excellent advisers were to blame for his actions. Asking if Osimhen had won the Nations Cup or the Champions League, he cast doubt on Osimhen's accomplishments and stressed that leading the qualifiers in goals scored was meaningless if that performance was not carried over into the main competition.

The former Super Eagles player also said that the pressure on coach Finidi George was the root reason of Osimhen's lack of devotion to the team. He said Osimhen's conduct was unbecoming of a member of the national team and that the player should apologize.

Oloyede firmly rebukes Osimhen for his actions and stresses the need of discipline and respect for teammates off the field. A large portion of the Nigerian football community, who place a premium on these traits, will probably agree with him.
