Paris Saint-Germain Prepared to Break Transfer Record With €250 Million For Barcelona's Lamine Yamal

Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly ready to shatter the world transfer record with a staggering €250 million bid for Barcelona's young sensation Lamine Yamal.

According to a report from the reputable Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo, the French giants see the 18-year-old Yamal as the perfect replacement for Kylian Mbappe, who recently departed for Real Madrid.

However, Barcelona have made it emphatically clear that their prized asset is not for sale under any circumstances.

Barcelona president Joan Laporta had previously revealed that the club had already turned down a €200 million offer from PSG for Yamal back in March.

Now, the French champions have apparently upped their bid by an additional €50 million, showcasing their determination to secure the young Spaniard's services.

Yamal's current contract with Barcelona includes a staggering €1 billion release clause, which was put in place when he renewed his deal in October 2023.

This contract ties him to the Camp Nou until 2026, and there is an agreement in place to extend it further until 2031 once the player reaches the legal age.

The teenager's rapid rise through the ranks at Barcelona has been nothing short of extraordinary.

Since making his first-team debut at the tender age of 15, Yamal has gone on to establish himself as a key figure in Xavi's side, showcasing his immense technical ability, creativity, and goal-scoring prowess.

Barcelona are understandably keen to retain the services of their prized asset, especially with the much-anticipated reopening of the renovated Camp Nou on the horizon.

The club views Yamal as a crucial part of their long-term plans and are unwilling to entertain any offers, no matter how lucrative they may be.
