My mom Hasn't slept since June 14, she always urges Glory to seek justice against her killer—Brother

Omotayo Adekolure has spoken about how his family is coping after the tragic death of his sister, Glory Adekolure, a final-year student at the University of Benin. Glory was killed in Benin, Edo State, on June 13, 2024. Omotayo shared that the family has been struggling to deal with the loss.

In an interview recently shared by Punch, Omotayo explained that their mother is deeply affected and has not slept since June 14. He said their mother calls out for Glory every night, urging her to seek justice against her killers. He said the family has been sleeping together in the living room to comfort their mother but it has been challenging. He said despite taking sleeping pills, their mother still cannot sleep, causing great concern for the family.

In Omotayo's words: "My mom is currently staying with my elder sister and she has not slept since June 14. She calls her name every night, urging her to go after those who killed her"
