According to recent reports, President William Ruto's team has taken action against MPs who have refused to support the contentious finance bill 2024.
According to a story in Monday Standard publication, the UDA party allegedly barred MPs from accessing the statehouse following their defiance of the measure.
According to the same reports, South Mugurango member of parliament Hon Sylvanus Osoro also kicked the MPs out of the party's WhatsApp group.
This occurred before the head of state decided not to sign the law and hence advocated for its removal by the National Assembly.
The decision occurred in response to nationwide youth demonstrations.
