Cleric Urges FG to Address Hunger and Hardship

A plea has been made to the Federal Government to alleviate the suffering of Nigerians, with a cleric warning that the country is "bleeding" due to hunger and hardship.

Brother Ben Charles-Davies, a minister at Gospel Power Ministry (GPM), made the appeal during the launch of his book, "The Wounded Soul", in Lagos. He urged the government to implement policies that would lift people out of poverty and starvation.

Charles-Davies described the situation as dire, with many families struggling to feed once a day and others unsure of their next meal. He lamented that the masses are "bruised and bleeding" and in urgent need of help.

While urging Nigerians to keep hope alive and look to God for divine intervention, he also called on the government to rule with the fear of God and address the rising prices of food and essentials.

The book launch was attended by dignitaries, including the General Overseer of GPM, Rev. Friday Bekee, and Dr. Dorka Bekee, who praised the book as a timely and useful resource for addressing the challenges facing Nigerians.
