Italian agent Vincenzo Morabito has advised Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen to reconsider his decision to leave Napoli and instead stay with the Italian giants to work with new manager Antonio Conte, according to All Nigeria Soccer.
Osimhen, who has been linked to several Premier League clubs including Arsenal, is reportedly eager to leave Naples for England's top flight. However, Morabito believes that working with Conte would be beneficial for the Nigerian striker's career.
"If I were in the Nigerian player's shoes, I would still remain with the Azzurri under the guidance of the Lecce-born coach," Morabito said in an interview with 1Station Radio via Area Napoli. "Working with Antonio Conte would do him a lot of good."
Morabito's opinion is based on Conte's impressive track record of improving strikers. The Italian tactician has previously worked with the likes of Romelu Lukaku and Diego Costa, helping them to achieve impressive goal-scoring feats during his stints at Chelsea and Inter Milan respectively.
