According to Daily Mail, Arsenal are preparing for a major summer transfer window, with plans to spend over £200 million on new signings while also offloading several players. Among those expected to leave is 22-year-old goalkeeper Karl Hein, who is currently on loan at Real Valladolid.

Several players are set to exit Arsenal at the end of the season. Thomas Partey and Kieran Tierney will both leave on free transfers when their contracts expire. Tierney has already agreed to rejoin his former club Celtic, while Partey has yet to be offered an extension despite making 36 appearances under Mikel Arteta this season.

Jorginho, whose contract is also up in the summer, is likely to receive an extension, though there is significant interest from clubs in Brazil and Italy. Additionally, loan spells for Raheem Sterling and Neto will end, while Oleksandr Zinchenko and Jakub Kiwior are expected to be sold.

Karl Hein, currently on loan at Real Valladolid, is another player likely to leave permanently. The young goalkeeper has been enjoying regular first-team football in Spain, playing every league minute this season and keeping five clean sheets despite Valladolid sitting at the bottom of La Liga.

Hein left Arsenal at the beginning of the 2024/25 season in search of consistent playing time, and he is expected to prioritize the same next season. With Arsenal needing a backup goalkeeper for David Raya, Hein could have been an option, but a return to North London seems unlikely.

Mikel Arteta has already lined up a potential replacement, identifying Spanish goalkeeper Joan Garcia as the preferred candidate to become Raya’s backup for the 2025/26 campaign.
