Adejobi, FCT Police PRO react as Abuja trader said policemen entered his shop, took away his laptop

The Force Public Relations Officer of the Nigeria Police, Muyiwa Adejobi, as well as the Public Relations Officer of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command, Josephine Adeh, on Thursday, May 9, 2024, reacted to the post by a trader in Abuja who alleged that policemen came to his shop and allegedly took away his laptop.

Adejobi, on his X handle, urged him to contact the FCT Police PRO in order to look into the matter, while Adeh, on the other hand, urged him to visit her in her office so as to get more details about the matter in order to carry out investigation.

The trader, whose X handle is @Princeps_Wasp, disclosed in his post that some policemen from the FCT command raided his shop and allegedly carried a laptop from the shop, saying the officers 'stole' from him.

He wrote: "I’m bringing this to your notice, please help me get this to the authorities in charge and I’m ready to grant any questioning and interview about it.

"The Nigeria Police stole from me on the 1st of May in Abuja. They came to my shop and carried my laptop from my shop."
