Arsenal make Osimhen decision

Arsenal have made a decision on signing Victor Osimhen this summer. The Gunners have decided against a move for Napoli forward in favour of targeting Sporting’s Victor Gyokeres. According to Corriere dello Sport, the North London side believe Gyokeres is the cheaper option despite having a €100million (£85m) release clause. It leaves Osimhen with few options, which is bad news for Napoli. Manchester United and Chelsea were also linked with the striker, but the former are closing in on Joshua Zirkzee and the latter are yet to decide on their preferred target.

Chelsea plot Nico Williams move

According to Spanish publication, Sport, Chelsea are plotting the biggest move of the transfer window so far, with Athletic Bilbao and Spain star Nico Williams in their sights. The report claims that Chelsea are prepared to offer a player in part-exchange for the forward, as well as £25m in cash. Nico Williams has a release clause between £45-52m.

Ndiaye to Everton

According to Sky Sports, Iliman Ndiaye is expected to complete his move from Marseille to Everton on Wednesday. The 24-year-old forward passed a medical at the weekend ahead of his move to Goodison Park. Ndiaye, who joined Marseille from Sheffield United last summer - scored four goals and registered five assists in 46 games for the French club last season.

City to rival Man Utd for Branthwaite

According to Manchester Evening News, It is reported that Manchester City could yet join the race to sign United target Jarrad Branthwaite. It comes after suggestions that the Red Devils may not be done with the bidding just yet either. Pep Guardiola is said to be impressed by the defender and City are now monitoring the situation.
