Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has revealed that he was “pushed” to fight with his colleague Davido but he refused.

According to Daily-post; Portable disclosed that he refused to fight with Davido because the DMW boss had helped him in the past. Portable explained that he can’t be pitted against someone who has helped him before, emphasising that he is loyal to his helpers.

The ‘Zazu’ crooner, who is currently in the United States, stated this during an interview with media personality, Daddy Freeze. Portable said that he was approached by some people who wanted him to fight with Davido, but he refused because he respects the singer.

He said:“I was pushed to fight Davido but I refused. Davido has helped me before. I can’t fight someone who has helped me. I am loyal to my helpers."

Portable’s revelation has sparked reactions on social media, with many people praising him for his loyalty.

Some people have also called out those who were trying to instigate a fight between Portable and Davido.

It is important to note that Portable and Davido have had a public falling out in the past.

In 2021, Portable accused Davido of stealing his song, ‘Aza Man.’

Davido denied the allegations and the two singers exchanged words on social media.

However, it seems that Portable has now put the past behind him and is grateful for Davido’s help.

His decision to refuse to fight with Davido is a sign of maturity and respect.
