Jens Lehmann gives two reasons why Spain will lose to Germany at Euro 2024

Former Germany and Arsenal goalkeeper Jens Lehmann has predicted that Spain will lose to Germany in their upcoming Euro 2024 quarter-final clash, citing two key reasons for his belief, according to Metro.

Lehmann, who made 61 appearances for Germany, believes that Spain's lack of physicality and experience will be their downfall against the tournament hosts. Despite Spain's impressive performance in the tournament so far, winning all their games, Lehmann thinks that their inexperience and lack of size will ultimately cost them.

"They are too small in size and they are very inexperienced, they are basically a youth team," Lehmann said in an interview with Welt. "At some point, the team will perform above average, but teams that are too small in terms of height are usually punished."

Lehmann also criticized Germany's uncertainty over their system for the clash against Spain, with Joshua Kimmich admitting that the team hadn't decided on a system yet. Lehmann finds this lack of preparation "irritating" and believes that Germany should already know their strategy by now.
