Chelsea striker reveals he has received several offers to leave club this summer

According to Metro, Chelsea striker Armando Broja has acknowledged the possibility of staying at Stamford Bridge next season, despite receiving offers from various clubs across Europe.

Broja, who made his senior debut for Chelsea against Everton in March 2020, has struggled to establish himself in the first team. The club is reportedly looking to offload the 22-year-old during this summer transfer window.

Following a promising loan spell at Southampton, Broja moved to Fulham in February on another temporary deal to revive his career. However, he failed to score in eight appearances for the Cottagers.

Chelsea is eager to finalize most of their transfer activities before pre-season under Enzo Maresca begins, with Broja considered surplus to requirements. The club is focused on upgrading their forward options, with Benjamin Sesko initially targeted before he signed a new contract with RB Leipzig. Other names linked to Chelsea include Samu Omorodion, Jhon Duran, and Alexander Isak.

Despite interest from clubs in Italy, Germany, and England, Broja revealed on Albanian TV channel RTV Klan that staying at Chelsea remains an option due to the four years left on his current contract.

"It’s true, I have offers from Serie A, the Bundesliga, and the Premier League," Broja confirmed. "Staying at Chelsea? It is an option. I still have a contract here."

Responding to reported interest from AC Milan, Broja expressed admiration for Zlatan Ibrahimovic and his potential move to the San Siro.

"First of all, I would tell him that I am a big fan of his. I have always liked him as a player," Broja commented. "Milan is a great club, second only to Real Madrid in history. I would tell him that I need to talk to my agent and family, then I will let him know."

Broja joined Chelsea’s academy in 2009 after a brief spell with Tottenham's youth setup. Despite showing glimpses of his potential with the Blues, he has struggled to secure a regular starting role, a situation compounded by Chelsea's frequent changes in management.

"I think it’s a very good thing for him to have the opportunity to play maybe more," former Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino remarked before Broja's loan stint at Fulham. "I hope he can take the opportunity to play more."
