Daily Post reports that popular singer Simisola Kosoko, known professionally as Simi, has opened up about her close musical bond with colleague Falz, admitting that they share intense musical "chemistry." Simi made the revelation during an appearance on Angela Yee's podcast, 'Way Up,' where she also hinted at an upcoming collaboration with Falz.

Addressing the misconception that they were romantically involved, Simi clarified that their connection is purely musical, despite the rumors that circulated during their collaboration on the 'Chemistry' EP in 2016.

Simi shared, "Before I got married, we did an EP and everything. People thought we were dating. We had a couple of songs together and people loved them. They were like, 'You have a good chemistry.' So we decided to do a joint EP and we made an EP called 'Chemistry.' People really loved it."

The singer revealed that she and Falz are set to release another collaboration, a single scheduled for the end of the month. Describing the upcoming track as "kind of a funny song," Simi expressed her excitement about sharing it with their fans.

The duo's history of successful collaborations has garnered widespread acclaim, with their musical partnership resonating deeply within the Nigerian music scene. Despite the dating rumors that arose from their previous joint project, Simi emphasized that their relationship remains platonic and focused solely on their shared passion for music.

Simi's clarification comes in the wake of her marriage to singer Adekunle Gold in 2019 and the birth of their daughter, Adejare, in 2020, effectively dispelling any lingering speculation about her romantic involvement with Falz.
