National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir has launched scathing criticism against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, accusing him of operating a "one-man government" amid escalating tensions over war strategy and truce negotiations, The Times of Israel reported.

Ben Gvir, a prominent figure in the far-right political spectrum, has been pushing for a more significant role within the now-disbanded war cabinet, citing the need for greater influence over critical decisions. His party has threatened to withhold support from an upcoming government bill unless their demands are met.

"We are facing a bizarre reality where our actions in Gaza and on the northern border are stalled, the IDF's hands are tied, and negotiations are initiated with untenable starting positions. Meanwhile, we are on a path towards a political settlement, all while succumbing to terrorism on multiple fronts, and the prime minister is running a one-man government," Ben Gvir asserted in a statement.

Accusing Netanyahu of unilateral decision-making and sidelining coalition partners during crucial cabinet meetings, Ben Gvir described the current situation as "unbearable."

"The prime minister must recognize that the 'rule of the right' is not merely a slogan, and the opinions of coalition partners carry weight. We did not join the coalition to cheer from the sidelines. We came to exert influence," he emphasized.
