Edo APC Dep Gov candidate Idahosa not arrested in Europe

According to The Nation, The media team of the Deputy Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Edo State, Dennis Idahosa, has stated the representative of Ovia constituency in the House of Representatives was not arrested in Europe. 

It noted the youthful Idahosa was in the United Kingdom and other European countries, consulting with Edo people in the Diaspora on the September 21, 2024 governorship election, stating he was never pursued from London by INTERPOL, as being insinuated.

The team criticised the false, unsubstantiated, and defamatory social media article targeting Edo APC's deputy governorship candidate.

It stated: "The publishing is an attempt to damage the reputation of a dedicated public worker and a distinguished two-time honourable member of the House of Representatives."

Rt. Hon. Dennis Idahosa travelled on a tour of the United Kingdom and other European nations, where he had strategic discussions with Edo people in the Diaspora, stressing his principal's vision for a new and better Edo State, noted Senator Monday Okpebholo.

Rt. Hon. Dennis Idahosa held vigorous interactive sessions with renowned sons and daughters of Edo State in key European cities including the Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark, and Germany.

It is no secret that Rt. Hon. Dennis Idahosa flew throughout Europe to engage Edo in the Diaspora on the importance of supporting the Okpebholo/Idahosa ticket in the upcoming governorship election.

"It is unacceptable that efforts to establish a more affluent Edo State will be wrongly perverted by some agents of darkness and their paymasters, causing a disservice to the decent people of Edo State."
