Founder of Ovation Magazine and one of the chieftains of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Dele Momodu has reacted after an X user told him to stop comparing Nobel laureate, Prof. Wole Soyinka with US President, Joe Biden.
The X user made the statement on his official X handle following the presidential debate that went down between Joe Biden and Donald Trump.
Here is what the X user wrote on his official page;
"Professor Wole Soyinka has never been a VP or a US President. He has never been on the campaign trail for over 50 years. Let’s stop comparing people that aren’t close please, Sir".
Reacting to the comment, Dele Momodu said Wole Soyinka was in prison for years and he doubts if any man has flogged his body and mind more than him.
Here is what he wrote on his page;
"Nelson Mandela spent 27 years in prison under extremely cruel conditions. Wole Soyinka was in prison for years and I doubt if any man has flogged his body and mind more than him".
