NANS pledges support for TETFund

According to Vanguard, The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has shown strong backing for the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) and its leadership, headed by Executive Secretary Mr. Echono Sonny.

NANS President, Pedro Obi, highlighted the vital role TETFund plays in maintaining and improving infrastructure in universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education in a statement issued on Friday evening.

According to him, it is important to emphasize the critical role of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) in supporting the development of infrastructure in universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education.

The Executive Secretary of TETFund, Mr. Echono Sonny, has made significant progress in addressing the infrastructure needs of academic institutions.

TETFund has played a key role in modernizing facilities and improving research capabilities in higher education. Without the support of TETFund, our tertiary institutions would be unable to meet the demands of contemporary education.

The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) strongly supports TETFund and rejects any distractions that may undermine its important role in advancing educational infrastructure in our nation.

We urge all parties involved to continue providing their steadfast backing to the leadership of TETFund, ensuring the successful fulfillment of its responsibilities for the improvement of our higher education institutions and the overall advancement of our country.
