Trump Would Begin Signing Executive Orders That Could Be Unfavourable To Germany - Friedrich Merz
Germany's Conservative Chancellor Candidate in the upcoming German Federal election, Friedrich Merz while speaking at a campaign event in Flensburg, reacting to the impact of the administration of the President of the United States of America, Donald Trump on the peace and security of the Europeans, acknowledged that Trump would likely begin signing executive orders, that could be unfavorable to Germany and the country members of the European Union, urging the Europeans that they must address the America First policy of Trump, with unity and resolve.
According to Anadolu English, Germany's Conservative Chancellor Candidate, Friedrich Merz said, "Trump would likely begin signing executive orders, including measures that could be unfavorable to Germany and the EU. Europeans must address Trump’s America First policy with unity and resolve. It's a matter of self-confidence. If you make yourself appear like a dwarf, you will be treated as a dwarf. The Americans are unforgiving in this regard.”
On the other hand, the Foreign Minister of Germany, Annalena Baerbock acknowledged that with the return of the President of the United States of America, Donald Trump to the White House, the country members of the European Union would have to take more responsibility for their own security, stressing that EU must stand on their own two feet, and do more to protect their peace. She also added that the country members of the European Union, on several occasions, had made it clear to the US that it was in the best interests of America if they worked together for peace, especially on the European continent.
