Jigawa Police Command Mourns Loss Of Three Senior Officers Within Two Weeks

The Jigawa Police Command has recently been struck by the loss of three of its Senior Officers in the past two weeks, all due to various illnesses. The disclosure was made by DSP Lawan Shiisu, the Public Relations Officer of the command, in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Monday in Dutse.

These unfortunate incidents took place between June 22 and July 5, as detailed by Shiisu. Among the deceased officers was SP Salisu Salisu-Mudi, a Patrol and Guard from Babura Division, who passed away at the Federal Medical Centre in Katsina on June 22.

Additionally, the command mourned the loss of ASP Asabe Muhammad, who served as the second-in-command at the Gender Desk Office of the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) and passed away on Wednesday. The third officer, CSP Muhammad Salihu-Koko, the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Yankwaahi Division, also succumbed to illness on Friday.

Expressing condolences to the families and loved ones of the departed officers, Shiisu mentioned that the command is deeply saddened by the loss and offered prayers for the peaceful repose of their souls.
