In a message at the recent Workers Training Service of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor W.F. Kumuyi emphasized that resisting temptation is crucial for those with a divine purpose.

He declared, "Lie with me is not the only temptation to run away from," highlighting that various forms of temptation can divert believers from their God-given dreams and goals.

Pastor Kumuyi illustrated that when one is focused on a significant goal, temptations lose their power. "When you are going to a definite place that is very important to you, temptations will not be powerful or effective over you," he explained.

Using the analogy of a student preparing for a crucial final exam, he pointed out that such focus prevents distractions. Similarly, those with a divine dream should not be swayed by temptations.

Referencing the biblical story of Joseph, Pastor Kumuyi recounted how Potiphar's wife attempted to seduce him. "People don't waste their time with thosfox,ho have no value, dullards, never-do-wells, mediocres. They bother about you because you are significant," he stated.

He assured the congregation that their significance in God's plan makes them targets for such attempts to derail them, but also reassured them of their ability to overcome.

Pastor Kumuyi warned Bible-believing Christians against focusing only on sexual temptation. "It is not so. Satan has more things in his pocket than that," he cautioned.

He reminded the congregation that Joseph overcame all these temptations and urged them to do the same. "You will overcome and not join them, or do any form of evil with them. You will not worship, serve idols or join cults with them in Jesus name," he declared.

Pastor Kumuyi inspired the believers to stay true to their divine journey. "Remember, you are to rule over them. Keep on your journey and you will get there," he encouraged.
