This has reportedly prompted the Blues to part ways with him as they look to cash in on the England international.
Man United step up interest in Frimpong
According to Sport Bild, Manchester United are reportedly stepping up their efforts to sign Bayer Leverkusen full-back Jeremie Frimpong in the upcoming summer window. Frimpong has been an integral part of the Leverkusen side that bagged the Bundesliga title this season. The Red Devils have been a long-time admirer of the player and want him in their squad ahead of the 2024/25 season as they look to replace Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
Liverpool and West Ham target Amorim could stay back at Sporting
According to Rudy Galetti, Ruben Amorim could stay back at Sporting CP beyond the current season despite holding talks with Liverpool and West Ham. While the Reds are now in talks with Feyenoord's Arnde Slot who appears to be the favourite to replace Jurgen Klopp at Anfield, West Ham's offer has reportedly failed to convince the Portuguese manager.

Bologna are hopeful of convincing manager Thiago Motta to continue at the club beyond the current 2023/24 season, according to Rudy Galetti. Manchester United and Juventus remain interested in appointing the Italian as their next manager next season but Bologna wants to keep their manager at the club considering they could qualify for the Champions League this season.
