The 2023/24 is gradually drawing to a close, however, there's still a lot to fight for. While the English Premier League title race is still on, the Golden Boot race is also firmly contested.

Heading into the 35th matchday, Chelsea star, Cole Palmer and Manchester City striker, Erling Haaland are both leading the Golden Boot race with 20 goals each. Palmer put in an impressive performance against Everton as he scored four goals and this boosted his chances of winning the prestigious individual award.

They are not without competitors, though, as the likes of Dominic Solanke and Mohamed Salah are still in the race.

As reported by Transfermarkt, Aston Villa striker, Ollie Watkins has scored 19 goals in the English Premier League this season. This means that he has the chance of overtaking both Haaland and Palmer if he scores twice on matchday 35 while the Manchester City and Chelsea stars draw a blank.

Closely following behind is Bournemouth star, Dominic Solanke. The English star has scored 18 goals in the English Premier League this season and would be looking to add to his tally. Newcastle United star, Alexander Isak and Liverpool star, Mohamed Salah are both on 17 league goals for the season while Manchester City's Phil Foden has scored 16 league goals so far.

Tottenham Hotspur star, Son Heung-min, West Ham United star, Jarod Bowen, and Bukayo Saka of Arsenal round up the top ten list with 15, 15, and 14 English Premier League goals respectively.
