President Ruto recently scrapped budgets for First Lady and Second Lady Office and following that Pastor Dorcas Rigathi has reacted.
Speaking today at a Church Service in Nyeri the Second Lady said she is okay with the move by President Ruto. She however made it clear that it will stop her from going on with her work of championing for the boychild.
"Kama vile wananchi wamesema hawataki Second Lady awe na budget, ni sawa lakini kazi ya wavulana sitawacha. That is a vision and passion for the boychild. I cannot stop because I started even before I was in office." Pastor Dorcas said.
Remember the decision to scrap the budgets for both First Lady and Second Lady was reached following protests and social media rage, with Kenyans demanding austerity measures be imposed by Government. Kenyans on social media had demanded that the budgets of First and Second Lady be scrapped and President Ruto acceded to the demands and scrapped them.
Pastor Dorcas Rigathi has now welcomed the move but she made it clear that it won't stop her from going on with her work of championing for the boychild.
