Chief Dan Nwanyanwu, the National Chairman of the Zenith Labour Party, has sent a message to President Ahmed Bola Tinubu regarding Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister Nyesom Wike.

In a video posted by Dele Momodu on his Instagram page, Nwanyanwu discussed the current political dynamics and potential future challenges involving federal government figures like Wike.

Nwanyanwu expressed concern over perceived tensions between the federal government in Abuja and actions taken by Wike.

He emphasised that President Tinubu should avoid aligning with Wike in ways that could destabilise national governance or adversely affect his own administration.

Nwanyanwu went further to predict significant political movements in the future, specifically stating that Wike is likely to challenge President Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.

Nwanyanwu highlighted Wike's impressive performance as a minister but noted that he is expected to step down from his ministerial role around 2025 or early 2026 to prepare for a presidential bid.

He cautioned President Tinubu to be wary of Wike's political ambitions, suggesting that Wike's actions and future plans could pose a direct challenge to Tinubu's presidency.

According to Nwanyanwu, Wike’s strong performance as FCT Minister has set the stage for his potential presidential run, and his likely departure from the ministerial position would be a strategic move to focus on his campaign.

Nwanyanwu said, "If you don't know, Wike will contest against you, President Tinubu, in 2027; take it to the bank.

"Yes, he has done well as a minister, but he will run against you; he will run as president; he will leave that office at the end of 2025 or early 2026 to prepare for his presidency.

"Why do I say so? I know what I'm saying; I know Wike very well, and he knows me very well. He will run against you in 2027."
