After narrowly defeating Germany in the quarter-finals, Spain are set to face France in a Euro 2024 semi-final in Munich.

The Spanish squad, led by head coach Luis de la Fuente, will be missing three key players for Tuesday evening's clash.

Midfield maestro Pedri suffered a knee injury in the previous match, and two defenders, Dani Carvajal and Robin Le Normand, are suspended following Carvajal's red card against Germany.

This forces De la Fuente to make significant changes to his lineup.

Veteran Jesus Navas, at 38, is expected to take Carvajal’s spot at right-back, while Nacho, a former teammate of Carvajal at Real Madrid, will replace Le Normand in central defense.

These experienced players are tasked with containing the threat posed by France's star forward Kylian Mbappe.

In midfield, Dani Olmo and Mikel Merino, who both scored as substitutes in the previous match, are in contention to fill Pedri’s role.

One of them will join Fabian Ruiz and the indispensable Rodri.

Spain's attack will be led by captain Alvaro Morata, supported by the dynamic duo of Nico Williams and teenage sensation Lamine Yamal on the wings.

Their pace and skill are crucial to Spain's fluid passing game.

Ferran Torres and Joselu, who have been effective as substitutes throughout the tournament, are likely to feature again in the second half to provide fresh energy and potential game-changing contributions.
