Ambassador Sobomabo Jackrich, who previously ran as the governorship candidate for the National Rescue Movement in Rivers State's 2023 elections, urged opposition parties in Rivers State not to underestimate Governor Siminalayi Fubara amidst the ongoing political crisis, as reported by Vanguard.
Speaking at an event in Buguma, Asari Toru local government area, Jackrich stated that Governor Fubara's simplicity should not be mistaken for weakness.
Jackrich highlighted that Governor Fubara's leadership is seen as divinely ordained and legally confirmed. He pointed out that while the governor may appear unassuming, his administration has made significant strides, demonstrating his true strength.
Sobomabo Jackrich said, “we want to challenge those who said Governor Sim’s government will not stand to see that his enthronement is divine. God knows why Sim became Governor, even legal court processes have confirmed him. He may seem powerless, but I tell you, he is more powerful than you think with the strides taken so far”.
At the event, Jackrich and the Egberipapa Political family declared their support for Governor Fubara and the Simplicity Movement, a grassroots political group backing the governor. Jackrich expressed confidence in the governor's vision for the state's development and praised his sincerity and proactive governance.
