Arsenal legend and current pundit Lee Dixon has voiced his frustration over Manchester United defender Noussair Mazraoui's error during the FA Cup clash against Leicester City. Dixon, a three-time FA Cup champion, was providing commentary for ITV at Old Trafford and was visibly exasperated following Mazraoui's mistake.

As reported by Sky News, the Moroccan international was penalized for a foul throw, which Dixon criticized as a "schoolboy error." The pundit even suggested that Mazraoui should face financial consequences for the blunder. "Absolute foul throw. Should be fined a week’s wages for that. How can you not throw a ball in?" Dixon remarked.

Despite the setback, Manchester United managed to overturn a deficit to secure a 2-1 victory, with Harry Maguire netting the decisive goal in the 93rd minute. However, the winner was marred by controversy, as Maguire was clearly offside when he headed the ball into the net. Nevertheless, the goal stood due to the absence of VAR in the FA Cup’s fourth round.

United’s coach, Ruben Amorim, defended his team’s display and highlighted the debut performance of 20-year-old Patrick Dorgu. Playing in an unfamiliar role as a right wing-back, Dorgu impressed with his physical attributes, and Amorim emphasized his responsibility in ensuring the youngster's continued development.

With this victory, Manchester United advanced to the FA Cup’s fifth round, where they will face another Premier League side. As they aim to build on their momentum, addressing their defensive vulnerabilities will be crucial. Given recent scrutiny over their defensive lapses, Amorim will need to reinforce his backline to boost United’s chances of making a deep run in the tournament.
