Latest Transfer News: Manchester United close to securing Eriksen's replacement from Bayern Munich
Manchester United are on the verge of securing Bayern Munich midfielder on loan to replace Christian Eriksen.
Christian Eriksen's injury suffered against Reading in the FA Cup will keep him out for almost the entirety of the remainder season.
Early prognosis has revealed that Eriksen would return on late April at the earliest, this news was confirmed on the club's official site and then by Erik Ten Hag during his press conference.
United have moved quickly to secure a good replacement for Eriksen.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United have reached agreement with Marcel Sabitzer on personal terms and an agreement with Bayern Munich is also imminent.
As it is, Sabitzer is already on a plane travelling to Manchester to complete the move. It will be a 6-month loan deal and further detail could be announced on completion of the deal. A buy option may or may not be included but those details would be available once the paper works have been signed.
Sabitzer should be a great signing for Manchester United.
