The latest funding allocations for political parties have been announced by the Registrar of Political Parties, Ann Nderitu, with the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) and Jubilee Party emerging as significant beneficiaries.

ODM, led by Raila Odinga, will receive Ksh 168,832,050, while the Jubilee Party, under former President Uhuru Kenyatta, is allocated Ksh 74,052,078.

The United Democratic Alliance (UDA), led by President William Ruto, is the largest beneficiary in the new allocations, receiving Ksh 316 million. This funding is attributed to UDA’s dominant representation in the National Assembly, Senate, and county assemblies.
