Famous journalist Chief Dele Momodu posted a video of an interview with Chief Dan Nwanyanwu, the National Chairman of the Zenith Labour Party, on his official Instagram page. Dan Nwanyanwu took advantage of the occasion to warn President Tinubu concerning his 2027 presidential ambition.
He added that we should not believe that the president, the federal government, or the Abuja administration approve of the work that Wike is performing in his capacity as a minister.
He claimed to have stated on many occasions that the President has no business listening to Wike. He warned that while President Tinubu had appointed Wike, he should not set Rivers on fire, as it would jeopardize his position as president.
Dan Nwanyanwu stated that Fubara is the one Tinubu should conduct business with if the issue is with 2027.
He underlined that Fubara is the one in charge, and Tinubu is aware of this since, as President, he has the most political experience—having held the position of governor for eight years. He thought Tinubu ought to know more about it than he did.
In his words, "If you don't know, Wike will contest against you, President Tinubu, in 2027; take it to the bank."
"Yes, he has done well as a minister, but he will run against you; he will run as president; he will leave that office at the end of 2025 or early 2026 to prepare for his presidency."
"Why do I say so? I know what I'm saying; I know Wike very well, and he knows me very well; he will run against you in 2027."
