Senator Adams Oshiomhole, former Governor of Edo State, has highlighted the issue of corruption, stating that it lies at the heart of many problems in the society
In a recent video shared on YouTube by TVC, Oshiomhole stated that he only got to know that a President of the United States of America had the power to hire and fire top officials like the Chief of the CIA or FBI after Donald Trump became president, and a CIA was reported to have tapped and listened to the conversation of the US president.
Oshiomhole emphasized the importance of accountability and standing up for what is right even if it means risking one's job. He stressed that in a society where people prioritize protecting their positions over upholding integrity, corruption can thrive.
In his words: "I never knew until Trump became US president that US president can fire and hire the chief of CIA or FBI because of the way in which a CIA man was reported to have tapped and listened to conversation of US president and he knows that he can be fired"
