Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has stated that the decision of the Appeal Court on the crisis in the State House of Assembly does not worry him. Fubara, who was speaking during an inspection of the reconstruction of the Zonal Hospital project in Bori Town, stated that his administration will continue to provide good governance despite the challenges they face. He also stated that his administration will prioritize healthcare, education, and agriculture, and will ensure that the people have access to top-notch services in these areas.

According to Daily Post, the governor's statement comes after the Appeal Court nullified the order of a Rivers State High Court which restrained Martin Amaewhule and 24 other lawmakers from parading themselves as lawmakers. The court also stated that only the Federal High Court has the jurisdiction to entertain the matter of the lawmakers.

Despite the legal challenges, Fubara remains optimistic and has assured the people of Rivers State that his administration will continue to work for them. He has also stated that he has moved on from the crisis and is focused on delivering the dividends of democracy to the people of Rivers State.
