Rafiu Kuteyi, an author who wrote a book about Leah Sharibu's situation, has discussed her ongoing captivity. Leah was one of the Dapchi schoolgirls kidnapped by Boko Haram, a terrorist group, in 2018. While the other girls have been released, Leah remains in captivity.
In a video shared by TVC, Kuteyi mentioned hearing that Leah was reportedly forced to renounce her faith and marry one of the Boko Haram leaders. He also said it was reported that after Leah's first husband was killed in an air raid, she was forced to marry another Boko Haram member and now has two children.

In his own words, he remarked, "We heard she was married to one of the Boko Haram terrorist leader and in the process of air raid, the husband was killed. Sahara Reporters gave us report that she was remarried to a second husband and as we speak, she has two children. However, I don't believe that should change her faith"
