Preparations for the Paris 2024 Olympics will begin for Nigeria's senior women's national team as they start training in Sevilla, Spain on Sunday.
As per Nigeria football, the 9-time African champions arrived in Spain for their camp on Friday.
Currently, ten players are in camp and serious preparation is scheduled to kick off on Sunday.
The team, led by Randy Waldrum, will face Olympic Champions, Canada, in an international friendly match before heading to Paris.
Nigeria will compete with world champions Spain, Japan, and Brazil in Group C.
Despite winning just one match in their three previous appearances, the Super Falcons aim to improve their performance at the upcoming women's football event of the Olympics.
This will be Nigeria's first participation in the football event of the Olympics in 16 years.
The Super Falcons Paris 2024 campaign will commence with a match against Brazil on July 25, followed by a fixture against Spain three days later, and concluding with a game against Japan on July 31.
