According to a report by Punch. Vice President Kashim Shettima reaffirmed the federal government's dedication to the welfare, security, and advancement of its constituents.
Shettima provided the guarantee on Saturday as he was in Keffi, the capital of Nasarawa State, leading a delegation from the Federal Government to express sympathy to Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim, the Minister of State for Police Affairs.
Mrs. Aisha Sulaiman-Danladi, the minister's mother, passed away on Thursday at the age of 66. Alongside Shettima, who was representing President Bola Tinubu, were Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Abubakar Kyari, Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, and Dr. Emmanuel Akabe, Deputy Governor of Nasarawa.
Stanley Nkwocha, Shettima's spokesperson, said in a statement that he was there at Tinubu's request to offer his condolences to the family on the loss of their mother.
The vice president praised the late Sulaiman-Danladi greatly and emphasized her beneficial contributions to the neighborhood.
