Reflecting on the day of his passing, Tambuwal emphasized Yar'Adua's qualities as a true democrat and leader, highlighting his humility, vision, and commitment to the rule of law.
Tambuwal acknowledged the profound impact of Yar'Adua's death on Nigeria's political landscape, describing it as leaving a significant void. He praised Yar'Adua's patriotism and dedication to institutionalizing democracy and unity in Nigeria. Tambuwal also expressed personal admiration, noting Yar'Adua's role as a political mentor who inspired a generation to prioritize building strong institutions over relying on individual power.
